“Church Without Walls” 5th Sunday Service Day

Supporting Scriptures:

Matthew 5: 14-16; 12:1-12; Hebrews 13:16; 1 Peter 2:12; 3: 13-16

Today, close to 70 people from our church spent the morning doing community service projects around our town of New Brighton instead of spending our “church time” in our building for Sunday School and our Worship Service.  We will do this for one year, taking every time a month has a “5th Sunday” to engage our community with compassionate, God-honoring service to them.  For more information about this new ministry at our church, feel free to check out the Powerpoint presentation about it below and the video that is in my Vodpod on this page (“5th Sunday Community Service”).

Next week, I will be on vacation in Dallas for a training and some much-needed relaxation. 🙂

Our Guest Speaker on November 6th will be Dr. John Stanko, a professor with the Center for Urban Biblical Ministry in Pittsburgh.  John will share some information and insight about how God works through His people in the city.  You can learn more about John and his ministry experience at the link below:

May God Bless and Protect you all until we see each other again!
