Sermon Review (10/31/2010): “How to Live a Holy Life in a Sin-filled Culture”

I will be leaving a post each Sunday Afternoon/Evening with the Title and Primary Scriptures from each of my sermons. This post (as all my posts are meant to be) is a place where you can leave your questions, impressions, and ideas from my sermon. Here, you can process the message and how best to apply it in your life.

October 31, 2010:   “Equipping All People for the World:         How to Live a Holy Life in a Sin-filled Culture”

Scriptures:

Isaiah 1: 16-18 / 1 Peter 2 / Hebrews 12 / Leviticus 20: 7-8, 26 / Galatians 3: 26-27 / 2 Corinthians 5: 17, 7:1 / James 4

My PowerPoint for today’s sermon is attached below:

Also attached in my Vodpod on this page is a video of a song we used during our Worship Service today (“I Need Thee Every Hour” by Jars of Clay), which is a great hymn that stresses the importance of staying in a close relationship with God in order to a live a holy life that honors Him and reflects Him well to our world.

Blessings,

Pastor Josh
